Education re-designed with heart
Education re-designed with heart
A quiet revolution in education — built by one mum, one session, one soul-led idea at a time.
To create an emotionally intelligent, creatively structured alternative to traditional education. One that meets teens and their families where they really are. I imagine a world where home-educating teens don’t just survive outside the system, they thrive because they feel seen, supported and free to learn in a way that meets their needs.
I’m designing flexible, trauma-aware learning tools that blend structure with soul, especially for teens who may be navigating neurodivergence, emotional overload or a break from mainstream school.
I support parents (like me) who are trying to walk alongside their teens — not hover, not control — but hold space. Everything I create is rooted in real life, deep feeling and a desire to make home education more human.
1. Emotional Safety First
I believe learning can only happen when we feel safe. Emotionally, mentally and energetically. Everything I design honours nervous system needs, emotional overwhelm and the reality of messy days.
2. Structure Without Shame
I love clarity, flow and a good checklist, but never at the cost of pressure or perfectionism. My resources are here to guide, not guilt-trip.
3. Creativity is Curriculum
Doodles. Voice notes. Metaphors. Drawing thinking out with both hands. Creativity isn’t a side task, it is learning. I design for brains that need movement, visual prompts, empowerment and meaning.
4. Progress Looks Different Here
Sometimes progress is a finished worksheet. Sometimes it’s a conversation, showing up or sitting with a task for two minutes instead of one. I honour every version of growth.
5. Walk Beside, Don’t Hover
This one’s personal. I’ve learned (okay still learning) the hard way that my teen doesn’t want me to teach them. They want space and I’ve had to learn how to give it, while still showing up. Everything I create is for parents like me who are still trying to get that balance right.
6. Build As You Go
I’m not showing up with a polished programme. I’m building this as I go with my teens and for other families who are figuring it out too. This is permission to build slowly, honestly and in a way that lasts.
